I believe everyone deserves great mental health care.
I'm committed to providing it.
My approach draws on mindfulness practices, especially radical acceptance and self compassion. I practice genuine positive regard meaning I intentionally see and reflect the best in you.
My clinical decision making relies on art and science. The art lies in listening closely and building genuine connection to understand who you are and your goals and preferences. The science involves identifying accurate diagnoses and the most effective science backed treatments that align with your values and needs.
I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 15 years. Before this, I worked in a higher education startup providing one-on-one coaching for college students yeilding significantly improved graduation rates. Later I trained coaches how to coach. In my current clinical practice I draw heavily on my practical strength-based foundation in coaching to ensure my clients make measurable progress toward their goals.
Outside of work my biggest role is being a mom.
I don't love the dishes. I don't love the laundry. I do love the laughter and presence skiing, biking, and being on the river with my loved ones.
About Firn
About firn
Firn. Yes... with an i!
Firn is the point of transition and transformation in glacial snow.
The firn line is a measurement of a glacier's health.
It's a place of dynamic change. What will stay and solidify into next season and what will melt away?

I respect the agency and bravery it takes to seek mental health care. I get that it it can be hard. My goal is to make your experience as easy, judgement free and comfortable as possible.
Mountains, particularly snowy ones, are some of my best teachers.
My patients are too.
I'm grateful to walk beside both across life's everchanging terrain.
